Happy Rhodes Song Samples (MP3s)

Hi, thank you for visiting my Happy Rhodes song samples page. If you haven't heard Happy's music, I think you're in for a treat. If you've only heard a few songs or one or two albums, you have a lot of great music ahead of you. If you like what you hear, please spread the word. Happy's an independent artist, and well-worth supporting. Word of mouth always helps.

If you're using a voice browser, I hope this page will be easy for you to navigate. The albums are in chronological order from 1986 to 1998. After some text there are links that will take you to a specific album on the page. Or, if you wish, you can start with the first song and go from there. After each album title there are several songs that can be downloaded. Songs from all 10 of her albums to date are on this page. Snippets, not full songs, from her unreleased 11th album, Find Me, is last on the page.

If you have any questions or suggestions on how I can make this page easier for you to navigate, please write me at this address: xenussister@yahoo.com My name is Vickie. Thank you for visiting this page.

Happy's lyrics can be found at the Ecto Home Page

I love all of these songs, but generally my favorites are the first couple of songs. If you're new to Happy you should find out soon enough if our tastes are compatible. If you think there are a lot of songs here, believe me, I left out dozens that I dearly love. It was painful too.

  1. Start with the first song, which is Possessed, from her album Rhodes I
  2. Rhodes I (1986)
  3. Rhodes II (1986)
  4. Rearmament (1986)
  5. Ecto (1987)
  6. Warpaint (1991)
  7. Equipoise (1993)
  8. Rhodesongs (1993, a compilation with early tracks and rarities)
  9. Building The Colossus (1994)
  10. The Keep (a compilation of acoustic tracks and rarities)
  11. Many Worlds Are Born Tonight (1998)
  12. Find Me (snippets, not full songs, from her unreleased album)

Happy is still working on her 11th album, Find Me. In 2005 she released a sampler of songs from the album, for sale only to fans. That's where the snippets above come from.
